Jinnah

It was our first night trying at Jinnah last night and I can’t believe we’ve not been before. It is by far the nicest Indian I have ever ever eaten. The food was sensational, the service was amazing. We could not recommend this place enough. If we could give 10 stars we would. Definitely recommend!!

Absolutely scrumptious! We visited with our two children (6yrs and 1yr) and had a marvelous meal! The kids curry portions are generous and cooked to perfection - great big chunks of chicken in the korma and a smooth, fragrant coconut sauce. They are presented in the same serving dishes as the adults, so our eldest felt very grown up! (Our eldest has some allergies, and they were able to safely accommodate without any issue). Our toddler was provided with a high chair and happily munched away - there was zero quibble with us bringing a sippy cup with us for him. My husband and I both enjoyed lamb dishes - the meat was tender, perfectly spiced and utterly delicious! The family naan will happily serve four, they're massive! The staff are excellent; your glass doesn't stand empty for more than a minute before they quietly come over and ask if you need a refill. They are well organised and on top of everything. As customers leave, tables are scrubbed down and places re-set in a flash. The building is absolutely beautiful, with chandeliers and waterfalls behind glass. The loos were immaculate in both the ladies and gents (though the taps in the ladies are a tad wobbly). A genuinely lovely evening out, fabulous food in a delightful atmosphere. We will definitely be back!

Always a brilliant curry, naan breads can't be beaten. Please open a branch in York! We've recently moved and cant keep driving to Selby to collect a takeaway

Consistently incredible and tasty food! We have never had a bad meal from Jinnahs. The portions are huge and it is always super delicious!

Great foot and service in a art deco venue. The Jinnah restaurants have an enviable position as a quality Asian food across Yorkshire. Attentive friendly service in a very busy ground floor space with perhaps 100 covers. The old Salvation Army building with Art Deco details has been refreshed contemporarily with flair and taste. Culminating in a very pleasant overall experience. Fantastic, keep it up.

We have been to this beautiful place many times and tried lots of things on their menu - never had issue with anything. Food is consistently awesome. Customer service is next level and the food is to die for. Highly recommended.
